Where Are Interest Rates Headed?
Updated: Mar 29, 2020
I thought I would share this letter that a client recently received from their lender.
6 months ago this client approached their lender for a discount on their home loan rate. That discount was eventually approved only for them to receive TWO letters from their lender to increase the interest rate - the last letter being received in Jan 2019.
To put it into context, the last time the RBA increased interest rate was back in 2010. Next time someone says that interest rates won’t go up for 2 years, refer to this letter and tell them interest rates are already rising.
